Marklund Motorsport holds on to title chances
Marklund Motorsport has held on to the title chances for Volkswagen in the eighth round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in the French town of Lohéac.
In front of tens of thousands of spectators Toomas „Topi“ Heikkinen (FIN) and his Swedish team-mate Anton Marklund barely missed reaching the finals by placing fourth and fifth respectively in their semi-finals. Nevertheless they gathered important points for the championship in their Volkswagen Polo RX Supercar.
Heikkinen is third placed in the overall standings with 147 points and continues to have good perspectives in the race...
