The Silver Arrows to the Italian earthquake victims: The champions' race suits auctioned by Charitystars

With the victory on the track of #suzuka, the #mercedes #amgpetronas team won its fourth World Cup title in the constructors 'championship and forged ahead in the drivers' ranking that sees #nicorosberg firmly in command with 313 points, followed by teammate #lewishamilton with 280. With four races still to contest in the World Championship, the two top drivers have set an overwhelming pace, conquering spots on the podium 25 times: 15 victories, 4 second places and 6 third. The very week that this first accomplishment of the season is being celebrated, the #mercedes #amgpetronas team is sending its top drivers back on the track and donating the race suits belonging to Nico and Lewis to the Laureus Sport for Good Italia Foundation in a fundraising effort to support the Italian populations that were hit by the earthquake. From today until October 30th the two race suits which have been autographed by the drivers will be auctioned in two individual lots on the website charitystars.com/mercedes. This is a unique opportunity to land a piece of Motor #racing history, which is sure to become a coveted object of desire for collectors worldwide in the era of the new Silver Arrows.
The Constructors' World Championship title sealed, the #mercedes #amgpetronas team is looking forward to the race in Austin where it will fall back on track to run a solidarity and invites its fans all around the world to support the Italian populations affected by the earthquake. The #mercedes #amgpetronas team, in fact, donated to the Laureus Foundation Onlus Italy the suits worn by the two drivers in the season 2016, that from today until October 30th will be auctioned in two individual lots, through the site Charitystars.com/mercedes .
The two race suits were autographed by the Mercedes-Benz top drivers after having been used during the most important part of the season, achieving stellar victories. Specifically, Nico's race suit accompanied the German driver from the Austrian Grand Prix to Hockenheim, by way of Silverstone and Hungaroring. Hamilton's race suit, on the other hand, held the highest place on the podium at both Monaco and Montreal, taking part in a good six races, from Sochi to Baku.
To participate in the auction and land an important piece of Motor #racing history, all you need to do is visit the website, register with an email address and telephone number and place your bid. At the end of the auction, the user who placed the highest bid will be named the winner.
